Here we honor members of the Mountain Laurel Chapter of Trout Unlimited, who has passed on.

Lester McNutt - 2009

1950-2008

Le
ster McNutt, of Hooversville, was involved in many volunteer and sportsmen organizations including the Somerset Conservation District, Southern Alleghenies RC&D and Conservancy, Somerset County Sportsmen’s League, Jenner Rod and Gun Club, Hooversville Game Protective Association, Somerset County Conservancy as well as the Mountain Laurel Chapter of Trout Unlimited. He also served for several years as the co-chairman of the Pennsylvania Council of Trout Unlimited’s Environmental Committee and also served one year as the President of the Pennsylvania Council of Trout Unlimited.
Michael Barton Sr. - 2007
Michael Barton Sr., a long time Mountain Laurel Trout Unlimited member, passed away in 2007. He will be missed. The photo below is provided by his granddaughter.
Bucky Buchanan - 2007
Bucky Buchanan was a long time member of Mountain Laurel Trout Unlimited chapter. The chapter lost his companionship shortly after the 2007 MLTU banquet. Bucky is shown in the photo below, on the right, sitting with chapter member Len Lichvar.
Robert Feath - 2004
In 2004, the Mountain Laurel Chapter of Trout Unlimited lost another dedicated, active member. Our chapter has dedicated a trout fishing book and informational video tape in Bob Feath's memory. The materials are available in the Johnstown public library.
Joseph Arcuri - 2003
In May 2003, the Mountain Laurel Chapter of Trout Unlimited lost an active member of the chapter who among other roles was serving on the chapter's board of directors. Joe Arcuri was a special person who went out of his way to aid others, often so quietly that his actions were known to only a few intimates. His friends and chapter members remember him with great fondness.
Frank Ceslovnik - 2002
Frank was an active hunter and fisherman and a Marine Corps veteran who served in the Pacific during World War II, including being present at the flag raising on Iwo Jima. He is missed by his friends in the Mountain Laurel Trout Unlimited chapter.
